This would rather nicely solve the perennial problem about where to go for Valentine’s, great location, smart restaurant (but it’s a hotel… they will do room service!)

Getting a babysitter is really tough and this would be no exception. However, we’ve only managed one night to ourselves since our son was born and that was so we could get on with some DIY. Although it was great to be able to wake up when I wanted.

The chance for a second night to ourselves in four years inspired me to comment!

  • TERRY RAY

I would like to win this Valentines Break because my wife is also my carer and it is very difficult to find somewhere different as well as romantic and still be together. My wife has looked after me for over 20 years and it is suprising how difficult it is to get away together, it has been many years since we visited London and enjoyed the likes of Carnaby Street, Sloan Square etc so you see if we were lucky enough to win not ony could we have a fantastic time we could relive the forty loving years we have had together,,,

I would absolutely love to win a Valentines break away with my husband-to-be! After 2 years of twin-related sleep depravation, I think we deserve a very romantic ten hours sleep. We could make light work of a full English breakfast (instead of leftover Weetabix/Marmite toast. And can you imagine the glory of using a remote control without teething bitemarks in it?!?

It would be wonderful to win this hotel stay. Believe it or not it would be the first full night we would have been away from our two and a half year old (not because we haven’t wanted to leave him – an overnight stay just hasn’t happened yet!), and I’d LOVE the chance before baby number 2 arrives in a few short months and it becomes impossible to get away for the night once more!

I was born in London, raised in London and fed in London. Thanks to London I found myself, my passion, my friends and my job. But more importantly London found me love. We met in London, got to know each other walking through London and now we’re together in London. But as time goes our busy lifestyle makes us forget the beauty of London. We blame the weather, the traffic and the people who run it. We tend to forget everything London has given us. We now just want to experience London at its best again. A day and a night to experience London to its fullest, without the chores, workload getting in the way. Refresh and create new happy memories for us to thank everything London has done for us again. Be at the heart of London because it was London that found us each other’s heart.

  • http://www.anessexwife.com Alice

Hubby gets to spend everyday in London but I hardly ever get to return to the motherland – if I stay out in Essex much longer I may even forget what smog smells like! I have already forgotten how to cross the road with such purpose the traffic stops for you because you are in a rush and clearly being a Londoner the most important person in the world. Help me regain the Urban skills I am losing!
