I’ve been tagged by Misty Bird over at Misty Seriously to take part in the Yummy Mummy Meme, started by Bex over at Busy Bee. If anyone could see me right at this moment, they’d fall over laughing at the very thought of me being a Yummy Mummy, but here goes anyway…

What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

Wish I could have another hour of sleep.

Do you shower daily? Are you an early morning shower or an evening bath type?
Getting a bit personal here. I love a morning shower, if it wasn’t for the Tinkerous Toddler and the general commitments of life, I would stay in the shower for at least three hours every morning. That’s how much I love showers. Got it.

Do you wear make up daily?

Most days, but not very much. The minimum is mascara, blusher and a slick of lip gloss. But usually there is a smear of neutral eye shadow around my eyes too.

What’s in your make up bag?
MAC neutral brown eye shadow, creme blusher, lip liner, red lip stick, coral lip gloss
Bourjois eye brow pencil in blonde
Maybelline mascara – dark brown
Shu Uemura – shimmer eye shadow
Rimmel London – red lip gloss and clear lip gloss

When you’re having a slummy mummy day, what do you normally wear?

The majority of things in my wardrobe come under this category at the moment.

Nails – How often do you get them done?

I love a mani-pedi, but since the Tinkerous Toddler came along I go once in a blue moon. *sobs uncontrollably*

You top tips for tired eyes?

Sleep.

Are you a Starbucks or Costa Coffee kind of girl?

Starbucks, though I am also partial to independent coffee shops that do less sugary, more interesting coffee. Luckily we have plenty of those round East London.

How many children do you have/want?

We’re off the starter’s blocks with one…

Where is your favourite place to shop for babies/childrens clothes?

All over. I started my career as a stylist, so I am well versed in mixing and matching and creating outfits. If you know what you are looking for, it isn’t hard to put together a really cool outfit for not much £££.

Flats or Heels? Everyday shoes are?

I’m a Converse girl most days. My stash of beautiful heels are kept neatly in boxes in my wardrobe and come out whenever I get a suitable opportunity.
